“I don’t want the public to see the world they live in while they’re in the Park. I
want them to feel they’re in another world”. This is something Walt Disney once said about Disneyland. This has held true for all of Disney to me. This is the most magical thing about a Disney vacation. For just a short time, I get to feel like I’m in a completely different world.
I’ve always had a love for Disney. I was able to visit as a little girl, as a teenager, and then again as an adult a couple of times. I know the exact moment, though, when my love became my passion. It was when we took our first Family trip of four to Walt Disney World in 2010. My husband had been laid off in 2008 and spent some time unemployed. Once he was back to work and settled in, we went to Walt Disney World to celebrate making it through a difficult time in our life. I was able to forget about the stress for a short time and focus on the Magic we were experiencing. I fell in love with what Disney was able to do…. provide a family Park where parents and kids could have fun together.
I’ve been blessed to travel back to Walt Disney World and over to Disneyland Resort frequently since then; experiencing trips ranging from solo trips with friends to participate in runDisney, trips with family, and trips with another family. We were even able to Cruise with Mickey during Spring Break one year! In 2016 we made our first attempt at including Universal Orlando into our Disney trip, and have been several times since!
As someone who cherishes making and keeping memories, I’ve loved watching my kids experience Disney at each age. They have been as toddlers, children, tweens, and teens. Each age has brought us a new experience as a family, and we have found that there’s always something new to find and experience! It is almost equally enjoyable to flip through scrapbooks about each one of our adventures reliving those moments.
For a few years, I was finding myself as the “go-to” Disney person in my circle of friends and co-workers. I found that I absolutely loved helping people travel to Disney. Thus began my path towards joining Magical Vacations LLC!
Now, as a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge and Universal’s training program, I’m here to help you make the most Magical vacation possible! Whether it’s your first trip and you don’t know what to expect or it’s your twelfth trip and you just want to have someone to share stories with, I’m excited to be able to help you plan and implement both your Disney and Universal vacations! Our agent [Jlynn W] helped with booking the entire trip and also helped us when we were stranded in MCO due to our flight being canceled to Texas.
