Memories…. The most important part of our lives is not money, fame, fortune, or even belongings. Memories outlast all other aspects of our life. Belongings are kept around because of memories, we spend money on trips for the memories, money can’t buy happiness but it helps make memories. Everything we work for, create the greatest gifts, memories.
My family and I experienced this first hand after a life-changing loss in our family. The times were rough and we got through them with memories. In 2016 we took our first memorial trip in honor of our son who passed away the year prior. It was amazing how the magic of Disney helped the healing process for our family by creating new and wonderful memories to share with each other and friends. The trip allowed us to laugh and find happiness again.
After that first trip, we were hooked. The next year we went again and became members of the Disney Vacation Club. The next we added Annual passes and enjoyed Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dressed as our favorite villains. I will always remember the little girl in line that gave ole Gaston (me) an earful about how Beast was Belle’s husband.
My favorite part about planning trips is helping others make those memories. That is what I will do for you. I love to share with my clientele the information I have collected that showcases the more unknown and underappreciated attractions. However, most of these experiences are underrated but exceptionally fun. A lot of the experiences are during the holidays. The reimagining of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, or the Christmas tree showcase in Disney Springs featuring a tree for the most popular Disney characters. The T-Rex café in Disney Springs or the Carthay Circle restaurant in Disneyland. The lifesize Gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian or watching the fireworks with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.
